The dress...on an Aug afternoon
From the wedding I helped shoot…
so if I process one photo a day, by the time we leave for CO, I should have five done
Now that’s progress.
Minimally processed in photoshop - I lightened (I was trying to minimize the boobie-shadows - I succeeded somewhat, but I couldn’t get them as translucent as the rest of the dress without making the rest of the dress disappear), cropped and desaturated quite a bit so it was almost black and white, but not quite - and tweaked the curves a smidge, to give it a bit of a vintage feel, but also a bit of a hot August afternoon feel (it wasn’t REALLY that hot…) And yes, I left in that ugly old couch and that icky coat hanger, and the radiator on purpose because I LOVE them all and the feel they give to the photo. I think I would have loved it more without the couch and more of the radiator, but the icky couch lends something to the photo as well…at least I think so. And don’t worry Ms. Bride, we checked and there was no dust or other ickiness that could actually get on your dress….we were very careful.
It is such a beautiful dress - simple, yet elegant. It was hand-beaded around the neckline, and so stunning. She looked amazing!
